Tear drop in the eye.
Looked for a change
In hopes to fly.
Left her world behind:
Friends. Family. Dreams.
All in hopes for one find;
A change in life to abide.
"Dont look back,"
She told herself.
"Adventure awaits
can't stay on the shelf."
Advice from the future -
Should have stayed.
Little did she know
The colors would still fade.
Once again,
A tear falls down her face.
She left everything
Her pride. Her love. Her grace.
All in hopes to see a change,
